Tour begins with hotel pick-up and van tour to the Summit of Haleakala. Guides will provide clients with a history of Haleakala, its geology and an explanation of rare plants and animals only found on Maui. Upon arrival at the House of the Sun Visitors Center, clients will be escorted to the rim of the Crater and view into the worlds largest dormant volcano.

The Tour proceeds to the 6,500 foot level of Haleakala where clients are expertly fitted to their bicycles and begin their 28-mile bike ride down the slopes of Haleakala, continuing thru the switchbacks, and Haleakala Ranch.

Tour stops at Sunrise Market and Protea Farm for a NO-HOST lunch. The ride of a lifetime continues down through Kula, Makawao, Hailiimaile and to the Pacific Ocean ending at Paia Beach Park.

We include round trip transportation, continental breakfast enroute to the launching point, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves, helmet and state fo the art volcano chrome cruiser bikes.

Haleakala Sunrise Tour

The Sunrise Journey is our most popular bicycle tour and has very limited capacity due to new park regulations.

YOU MUST BOOK YOUR TOUR IN ADVANCE.

Tour begins with hotel pick-up and van tour to the Summit of Haleakala. Self-paced with Van Tour

Our Self-guided tours are longer than any other unguided tour on the island (28 miles).

Our $110.00 tour includes a van tour of the National Park along with 28 miles of biking at your own comfortable pace.

Following your tour of the House of the Sun Visitor Center and Haleakala Visitor Center you will bike from 6,500 feet elevation and end at Paia Bay Beach Park in the town of Paia.

Clients meet our tour guides at Starbucks Coffee in the Maui Market Place (Kahului) at 7:00 a.m. Transportation to the summit, a continental breakfast (coffee & pastries) served enroute to the summit, Volcano Chrome Cruiser bikes, helmet, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves.

Upon completion of your bike ride, shuttle service back to Starbucks Coffee will be provided. Departure times from Paia Beach Park are 1:30pm, 2:00pm, and 2:30pm. Riders arriving to Paia after 3:00 p.m. will be charged a $20.00 per person pick-up fee.
